How do we motivate volunteers?
That is the essential question for all organizations who employ volunteers as part of their business. We are currently engaged in a research cooperation with one of Denmark’s largest festivals, Muskelsvindfonden, to see how they improve motivationand retention of their festivals.
We have spend the past 3 years looking into the motivation and retention of volunteers at different festivals around Denmark. The research has yielded some surprising results, which you can learn much more about on the page.
